Hewitt's Creek, Mar. 24th 2022 Ilford FP4+ in Hc110-dil. H Toyo view

I've been photographing this creek for nearly 40 years. In my early teaching days I bicycled to this location and made  hundreds of negatives with my trusty Mamiya 645 (Medium Format Camera) and nearly always, Kodak TMAX-100 developed in D76, wouldn't make the switch to TMAX-100 in Agfa Rodinal until 1994. I still live close to Lover's, Willow, and Hewitt's Creek and really look forward to the first warm days where they'll let loose. Kodak went into receivership in the early 2000's, all film products got considerably more expensive quickly.  This is Ilford FP4 in 4" by 5"  format, shot with a Toyo View 45G  in HC110 dilution H. Kodak products for a camera this large are (for me) prohibitively expensive at this stage. I am still learning  this format and am prone to cringe-worthy mistakes on a regular basis.   I like the look of this film, it renders sky and clouds beautifully but have had to learn to handle it differently; it prefers less frequent agitation and will block up quite easily even with dilute dev. solutions.
